The Minipress single station tablet press with
"The Director"
data acquisition and analysis system is designed for Pre-formulation
and the early stages of development, when formulation is very
limited, but the need for information is great. The purpose of
the Minipress is to collect and analyze large amounts of data
during the formation of a single tablet.
The system acquires upper and lower compression forces, ejection
and radial die wall forces, and upper punch displacement. With
these transducers and the SMI Director software program you can
obtain work curves, Heckel and porosity plots as well as compaction
profiles and strain rate studies.
